The School of Professional Psychology at Forest Institute invites applications for up to two (2) position openings for full-time (12 months) Core Faculty Members in the MA in Clinical Psychology (MACL) degree program. The MACL has evolved in response to the growing need for mental health professionals at the master’s level. This thriving program was established in 2010 and is rapidly becoming the largest degree program at the institution. As a result of program success and our distinctive stand-alone community mental health training clinic, we are in search of a full-time core faculty member to support this innovative program.
This appointment is a full-time (12 month) faculty position with responsibilities in classroom instruction, supervising student research, involvement in faculty governance, and developing other professional areas of interest including scholarship/research and/or clinical supervision. Teaching assignments could include additional courses in Counseling Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Applied Behavior Analysis programs.
Required qualifications include a doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) in clinical or counseling psychology (or related field) from an accredited program and a commitment to excellence in teaching and clinical training. Preferred qualifications include evidence of excellence in teaching and clinical training at the graduate level. The ideal candidate will be eligible for licensure in Missouri. Faculty rank is dependent upon qualifications.
