Besides studying for the exams that have been never-ending this month, i've been spending some time trying to put together my CV... You can't put together a CV without mentioning some conference poster presentations and I happen to have several different projects in the works for several different conferences...

Before i came here i used to be all against research and i used to say that there was no way i was going to do any more research than i had to... i was going to do my dissertation and that was it... Now that i'm here, i seem to be doing a whole bunch of it and i'm gonna let you in on a little secret...

I KIND OF ENJOY IT!!!

i know it surprised me too... Since starting classes here, my professors and mentors have really been able to show me how important it is to be not only a good consumer of research, but to contribute to that body of research also... So although, i wouldn't say that it's my top priority to hole up in the library and dig into books and articles all day, i will say that when there is something i'm interested in and i want to know more, spending the time to put together some articles and create a poster is well worth it...

So go forth and consume and contribute research...
