Description of Job and Duties:
Fulshear Ranch Academy
provides all-in-one treatment and transition services for young women on the
cusp of independence. Each young woman's experience at Fulshear begins on a
beautiful, serene equestrian ranch with a program of intensive treatment. Our
treatment approach is designed specifically to meet the complex needs of young
women struggling with behavioral or emotional issues. Fulshear is designed to
facilitate whole-family healing so that young women can step into a life of
healthy independence with as much support as possible. We are committed to
restoring hope in the lives of those we serve.
Fulshear is looking for a dynamic individual to Supervise
and oversee the development and coordination of the Clinical Department.
Fulshear is part of the InnerChange programs.
Qualifications:
Experience working with young adults in a Transition
Program with a minimum of five years management experience.
Master degree (Doctoral degree preferred) in Social Work,
Psychology, or related field.
Knowledge of DSM-IV TR disorders and other pertinent
issues facing the students and their families Knowledge of the pertinent
clinical terminology, and multiple therapeutic interventions and techniques.
Knowledge of the laws regarding documentation, reporting,
and confidentiality.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts
and draw valid conclusions.
Registered and licensed counselor able to supervise
counseling interns.
Ability to make critical decisions regarding students
based on input from multiple sources.
