Dr. Chris Stout Addresses Graduating Students
On October 13, faculty, staff, students, alumni, and friends of The School of Professional Psychology at Forest Institute celebrated graduation and commencement at The Gillioz Theatre in Springfield, Mo..
Forest Institute Board of Trustees Chairperson Dr. Kent B. Ragan and President Mark E. Skrade presented diplomas during the ceremony. Receiving diplomas included: 29 doctoral candidates in Clinical Psychology, 45 master’s candidates in Clinical Psychology, nine master’s candidates in Counseling Psychology and five master’s candidates in Marriage and Family Therapy.
Best selling author and Founding Director of the Center for Global Initiatives, Dr. Chris Stout, a licensed clinical psychologist and 1985 graduate of Forest Institute, impressed the crowd with his inspiring commencement address. His most recent book, Getting Better at Private Practice, was released in August.
