Forest Continues its Commitment to Members of the Military

Forest has always been proud to support the educational needs of our military family, and it continues to do so in the future.

Recently the Department of Defense made changes to the way institutions of higher education would receive federal funding for tuition assistance.

This required Forest Institute, along with every other school, to agree to a Memorandum of Understanding with the Department of Defense.  In doing so, Forest will be listed as a school military members can attend and receive financial assistance.

"Making these postsecondary programs available to the military community as a whole further provides Service members, their eligible adult family members, DoD civilian employees, and military retirees ways to advance their personal education and career aspirations and prepares them for future vocational pursuits both inside and outside of the Department of Defense," according to the DoD Memorandum of Understanding.  "This helps strengthen the Nation by producing a well-educated citizenry and ensures the availability of significant quality-of-life asset that enhances recruitment and retention efforts in all all-volunteer force."

Again, Forest is proud to continue its work with members of the military.  If you are interested in learning more about Forest Institute please contact our admissions team at 800.424.7793 or admissions@forest.edu.
