Depression Screenings Effective In Connecting Individuals at Risk with Treatment
Robert J. Murney Clinic at Forest Institute offers anonymous
in-person mental health screenings as part of National Depression Screening Day®
(NDSD) on October 19th, 20th, 21st, 2009 at multiple sites.
As part of the program, local residents will have the opportunity to complete a brief, written questionnaire; pick up educational materials on depression, stress, anxiety, posttraumatic stress disorder and bipolar disorder; and learn how to help a friend or family member who may be at risk. Individuals will also have the option of talking to a health care professional about any personal concerns. The RJ Murney Clinic will offer screenings at multiple sites Oct. 19th, 20th, and 21st including the following: R. J. Murney Clinic at Forest Institute, 1322 S. Campbell from8:30 am - 7:30 pm; The Kitchen Dental and Medical Clinic from 9 am – 4 pm ; The Multicultural Center from 10 am – 6:30 pm.
