Dr. Baker to Participate in National Teleconference
Dr. Jennifer Baker,
Forest faculty member, will present during a national teleconference regarding the Child Welfare Training Grant on August 28. The teleconference, titled “Building Healthy Relationships for Child Protection”, is organized by the
National
Child
Welfare
Resource
Center. It will feature Dr. Baker with principal investigators from the
University of
Louisville,
Syracuse
University,
Denver
University and SUNY Albany, who all received a similar grant award from the Administration for Children and Families.
Presenters will discuss material developed specifically for child welfare that focuses on supporting healthy marriages and sharing evaluation results.
The teleconference will also provide the training and tools that agencies need to support child welfare workers and foster/adoptive parents, connect with community partners and distribute information and services to the public.
