Faculty member elected to the American Board of Forensic Psychology
Dr. Christina Pietz has been elected recording secretary to the American Board of Forensic Psychology. Forensic Psychology is the application of the science and profession of psychology to questions and issues relating to law and the legal system.
The mission of the American Board of Forensic Psychology, Inc. is to protect the consumer of forensic psychological services by establishing, promoting, and revising, as necessary, standards and qualifications for those who practice forensic psychology; and certifying as ABFP diplomats those voluntary applicants who qualify under the standards established by the Board.

Professional Psychology at Forest Institute, Pietz is an Associate Professor by Distinction and serves as the Director of the Forensic Program. Pietz also works for the U.S. Medical Center for Federal Prisoners (MCFP) in
Springfield,
