Marguerite Langille-Hoppe, Monique Maxey and Dr. Judith Gonzalez presented a project titled "Perceptions of Poverty in the Ozarks" to the Springfield Mayor's Commission forChildren.  Perceptions of poverty were attained from qualitative interviews with individuals defined as living below the federally defined level of poverty as well as those individuals who provide services.
